EPISTLE TO ALL WARRIORS FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT

Dear friends, soldiers and defenders of Pakatan Rakyat in Sarawak,

When I woke up this morning and read the newspapers, I thought Barisan Nasional had won the election, judging by the way Barisan Nasional leaders were singing the praises of the Barisan Nasional Manifesto which was launched over the weekend.

It is clear that Barisan Nasional is now using the newspapers to create the impression that it is going to win. This is called PROPAGANDA and believe me it will get worse day by day. Tomorrow, the newspapers will be filled with more attacks by Barisan Nasional right up till polling day. The war of words has begun and the newspapers have no choice but to publish BN’s propaganda.

Do not be fooled by this propaganda. Do not be intimidated. Do not be frightened. And most importantly, do not lose hope. The war is just starting. BN is beating their gongs and war-drums. Are we to be frightened and get confused and panic the moment we hear their loud gongs and drums and run away? Stand firm! Ready yourself!

I ask you to place all your energy and focus on countering BN’s lies and propaganda. This is your job for the next few weeks until polling day.  Nothing else should distract you or cause you to panic or fear.

Some of you are too distracted by politicking and playing the guessing game of who will be the candidates and which seats will go to which party. Stop it! This guessing game is a waste of your precious time. All these questions will be answered in a few days’ time. Let the top leadership decide as it is their responsibility to lead. Our responsibility is to fight at grass-root level and remain focussed on the target. Our target is to unseat BN.

For now, when you go online, do not get trapped into useless discussions in chat rooms or forums or groups about candidacy and seat allocation and who will win or who will lose. Will any of these trivial online discussions win us a single seat? Of course not!

What will win us seats? EFFECTIVE, STRATEGIC AND COORDINATED CAMPAIGNING! Who are our target audience? The fence-sitters! What are you doing to convince the fence-sitters to vote for Pakatan Rakyat?Or do you prefer to indulge in guessing games and wasting time?

BN’s cyber-troopers are already everywhere on social media attacking Pakatan Rakyat and pushing their Manifesto. Are you countering back effectively? Go on the OFFENSIVE; do not go on the DEFENSIVE. Attack, do not just defend. Defend when you need to but attack so that BN has to defend. We have been attacking effectively for the past year, so let us not lose momentum now. Pace yourself as it is all about having the stamina to last the race till polling day.

Brothers and sisters, this is our best chance to take over Putrajaya. The next few weeks are crucial. Please, I urge you, use every moment you are on social media to counter back BN’s propaganda. Remember to stay away from fruitless and futile discussions of seat allocation, candidacy, and prediction. The war has begun and we must fight the enemy in the battlefield, not sit in the camp and talk cock.
